Steve served in the USAF for 8 years as a Communications Officer, holding several leadership positions during that time. After attaining the rank of Captain, he began a career with Newfield Exploration in Tulsa and spent the next 9 years drilling horizontal wells throughout the Mid-Con region as a Senior Drilling Engineer. He has significant experience in horizontal drilling and development of resource plays having executed drilling programs throughout the Granite Wash, Arkoma, and Anadarko basins. Steve holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Marquette University, a Master’s of Arts in Computer Resources & Information Management from Webster University, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University.
Prior to joining Casillas Petroleum in May 2016, Dewey was a Senior Completions Engineer with Newfield Exploration. Dewey is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2010. Following graduation he began working for Newfield Exploration as a field engineer in Elk City, Ok. After 13 months of working on workovers and well optimization, Dewey moved back to the Tulsa office in 2011 as a Production Engineer. During this time, he was responsible for managing Newfield’s Granite Wash wells in Western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. In 2013, he moved to the Completions Department working both SCOOP and STACK plays. Dewey is a member of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association Future Leaders Advisory Council. He also serves on the board for the University of Tulsa Newman Center.
Senior Reservoir Engineer
Skeet joined Casillas Petroleum in December 2016. Prior to this, he spent 5 years as an Exploration Reservoir Engineer with Cimarex Energy. His career began in the Anadarko Basin, working the Cana-Woodford shale play from January 2012 – May 2013. After this, Skeet joined the Cimarex Permian Region in Midland, TX. From May 2013 – August 2015, he was involved in the exploration and development of multiple zones across the Delaware Basin in New Mexico and Texas, gaining experience in the Leonard/Avalon Shale, Bone Spring Sands and Wolfcamp Shale. In September 2015, Skeet rejoined the Cimarex Anadarko Basin Region in Tulsa, where he worked the STACK play (Woodford Shale and Meramec) until his departure to Casillas.
Mr. Peters graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
After graduating LSU in May of 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, Victor began his career as a pumper for SM Energy in Shreveport, La. After 24 months of extensive field work including everything from lease operating to snubbing operations, he moved into the role of Production Engineer where he managed SM Energyâ€™s Cotton Valley, Travis Peak, Petit Lime, and James Lime production assets in the East Texas Basin. During this time he also assisted with field supervision of SM Energyâ€™s Granite Wash completion operations and worked on several exploration teams for the SM MIDCON region. Victor left SM in 2014 and joined Equal Energy as the Operations Engineer. During his time at Equal Energy, Victor managed drilling, completion, and production operations for Equalâ€™s Hunton Lime program. After spending two years with Equal Energy, Victor joined the Casillas team in November of 2016.
Victor is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where he recently served as chair of the MIDCON region for the 2015-2016 year.
Mr. Lambeth received his Petroleum engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. After graduation he worked for Barry Geo Services in Oklahoma City, OK performing engineering evaluations for acquisitions and divestments of producing oil and gas properties, log analysis, and prospect evaluations. In 1987 Mr. Lambeth resigned from Barry Geo Services and began his career as an independent consultant.
In 1989 he began consulting for Casillas Petroleum Corp. performing reservoir volumetric analysis, economic evaluations on potential acquisitions as well as technical testimony on behalf of Casillas Petroleum at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission on engineering matters. Beginning in 2011 Mr. Lambeth was retained full time as a company reservoir engineer. He has been involved in many A&D projects totaling over 200 million in investments
Jenna started as an Administrative Assistant at Casillas Petroleum in August of 2016 and now holds the role of Engineering Tech. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2013 with a bachelors in Human Relations. Prior to Casillas, she worked in several fields including quality control at a mortgage company and teaching elementary students.
Senior Exploration Geologist
Mr. Thomas most recently served as a geologist for Apache Corporation where he helped develop current acreage and expand Apache’s footprint in the Woodford play of southern Oklahoma. He also worked with various disciplines to evaluate multiple A&D opportunities across Oklahoma in various Anadarko Basin reservoirs. Prior to joining Apache, Mr. Thomas was a geologist at Samson Resources where he worked in a variety roles working the Anadarko Basin including exploration, development, and operations, as well as New Ventures projects in the Powder River Basin.
Mr. Thomas holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Missouri State University. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist, Geological Society of America, and the Tulsa Geological Society.
Clarke Fisher joined Casillas Petroleum Corp. as an Associate Geologist in January of 2017. Clarke is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and minor in Entrepreneurship. Following graduation, he began working for Nomac Services as a well site geologist in Alva, OK. After 1 year of working on drilling rigs throughout Northwest Oklahoma, Clarke transitioned roles to a floorhand for Nomac Drilling. In this role he assisted in the drilling of numerous Mississippi Lime wells from 2014 to 2016.
Mr. Fisher is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University, with an expected graduation date of Fall 2018.
Senior Land Advisor
Patrick D. Jordan joined Casillas Petroleum Corp. in May 2016 as a Senior Land Advisor. He has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production. He received his BBA in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. Mr. Jordan was employed for TXO Production Corp., now Marathon Oil Corporation in several of their Mid-Continent Regional offices as a Landman, then working as a Senior Landman/Manager, Oil and Gas Contracts for a couple of smaller publically traded Independent Exploration and Production Companies until starting his own Petroleum Land Consulting firm in 1996. For the last 23 years his primary focus as a consultant was the representation of firms pursuing large producing property acquisitions. Pat has served as lead advisor for several S & P 500 energy companies in their Due Diligence phase of Land Contract Reviews.
Senior Land Advisor
Tony Cervi joined Casillas Petroleum Corp. in June 2016 as Senior Land Advisor. Mr. Cervi previously served as Land Manager of the Mid-Continent region at PetroQuest Energy, Inc., a position he held from 2012 to 2016. Prior to PetroQuest, he was employed by Cimarex Energy Co. from 2003 to 2012, serving in various roles within the Mid-Continent, Permian Basin, and Gulf Coast divisions. Tony is a Certified Professional Landman and an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen (serving as its President from 2009 to 2010), Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen, and Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association. Mr. Cervi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.
Senior Land Advisor
Lawson E. Vogel, CPL joined Casillas Petroleum Corporation as Senior Land Advisor in May of 2016. He was with Samson Resources as the Land Lead for its Oklahoma properties before joining Casillas. Prior to that, he worked for Eagle Rock Energy as a Senior Landman over its Western Oklahoma Assets. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2003, he began his career with PetroQuest Energy as a Landman over its Southeastern Oklahoma Assets. Mr. Vogel has also served numerous Landman Associations on local, regional and national levels including TAPL as President, State OIPA and on the American Association of Petroleum Landmen in various committees throughout recent years.
Stephen Evans joined Casillas Petroleum Corporation as an Associate Landman in July of 2016. From 2011 to 2016, he worked for R.D. Williams & Company throughout the Ardmore Basin in Southern Oklahoma, primarily focusing his efforts on Oklahoma Corporation Commission proceedings. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Management from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Evans is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen. He also served as President of the Southern Oklahoma Association of Petroleum Landmen in 2015.
Amy Gann, RL, joined Casillas Petroleum Corp. as an Associate Landman in December of 2016. Before joining Casillas, she was employed with PetroQuest Energy, LLC from 2008 to 2016 most recently as an Associate Landman. Prior to that, she was employed with Samson Lone Star, LLC from 2004 to 2008 as a Senior Land Technician. She began her career in the oil and gas industry as a Land Technician with Associated Resources, Inc. in 2000.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Elementary Education at Northeastern State University. She is an active member of both American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Sam Sadler joined Casillas Petroleum Corporation as an Associate Landman in November 2016. He previously worked for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as a Surface Landman in Denver, Colorado working in the Wattenberg Basin from 2013 to 2016. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, along with the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen. Sam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Energy Management and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
Senior Division Order Analyst
Emily joined Casillas Petroleum Corp in November of 2016. She began her career in Land Administration in 2007 with Newfield Exploration as a Division Order Associate. She quickly worked her way up to Senior Division Order Analyst working multi-section Oklahoma properties.
Emily is active in both local and national educational associations for Division Order Analysts, SADOA and NADOA, and even served as Director on the Board of SADOA in 2010. Prior to beginning her career in oil and gas, Emily earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Elementary Education at Northeastern State University.
Julie started in data entry when she was hired at Casillas in 2002. It was soon after that she decided to attend college for accounting. After 4 years of extensive hands on training and schooling, Julie took over as head Staff Accountant for Casillas in 2006.
Julie earned her bachelors in accounting at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa.
Andrew started in the Oil and Gas industry in 2008 while attending Rogers State University working towards his accounting degree. He has worked in all areas of Oil & Gas accounting including Revenue Distribution, Joint Interest Billing, and Financial Accounting. Prior to joining Casillas in 2014, Andrew was an Accounting Supervisor at Associated Resources Inc.
Accounts Payable Coordinator
Sara began as an Administrative Assistant for Casillas and worked her way through several roles within the company. Eventually, she found her place as the APC, it is a role that she has truly made her own and continues to thrive in. Prior to her start date for Casillas in 2007 she attended the University of Oklahoma.
JIB Accounting Supervisor
Marci Hohendorf joined the team at Casillas Petroleum in 2014. Mrs. Hohendorf brings with her over 20 years of accounting experience in the oil & gas industry. Her extensive experience in all aspects of accounting particles within the industry will serve the clients of Casillas Petroleum well.
Shelby attended OSU and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She began her accounting career by working as a bookkeeping intern at a local CPA firm during her sophomore year. This allowed her to get hands on experience within the accounting world. She became an income tax intern during her junior year at this same firm.
After graduating from Oklahoma State University with her accounting degree, Shelby went to work for a Tulsa based oil and gas company as an Expense Accountant I where she gained knowledge of the industry. She was promoted to Staff Accountant, gaining even more knowledge of the industry and giving her the opportunity to make the transition to Casillas Petroleum as a Senior Accountant with the Kansas Acquisition.
Revenue Accounting Assistant
Since starting with Casillas in the fall of 2013, Pamela has held the position as Administrative Assistant and continues to take on different responsibilities within that position. Previous, Pamela spent several years working as an Administrative Assistant for BS&B Safety Systems. Before that she worked at Flint Energy Services as their Accounts Payable clerk.
AP Lead/JIB Assistant
Chelsea jointed Casillas Petroleum Corporation in November of 2016. She has worked in all areas of Oil & Gas accounting including Revenue, Owner Relations, Joint Interest Billing and Accounts Payable. Before joining Casillas, she was employed with Samson Energy Company from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, she was employed with Chesapeake Energy Corporation from 2011 to 2014.
Cindy joined Casillas Petroleum in 2016 as an HR Consultant with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She began her career in the marketing department at Vintage Petroleum in 2001 before moving to Newfield Exploration in 2009. In 2014, Cindy was asked to join Iron Star Energy where she was responsible for accounting, land, regulatory and all HR functions.
Senior Executive Assistant
Linda began her career with Casillas Petroleum Corp in 1997. Mrs. Pittman has played an integral role throughout the life of the company. Linda has been involved in all facets of the company from revenue distribution, accounts payable, joint interest billing as well as assistance to field staff.
Linda started her college education at Northeastern State University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in business from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Production Superintendent for Northern Oklahoma region
Bo has been supervising the Northern Oklahoma region for Casillas Petroleum since 1997 from the field office in Nash, Oklahoma. He oversees the management of current producing assets as well as the oversight and supervision of new drilling projects. His hands-on management skills and dedication to his job help optimize production and keep operations running efficiently.
After attending Oklahoma State University, he began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1976. Mr. Thomas has gained his experience with Texas Oil & Gas Co., Andover Oil Co. and 19 years with Casillas Petroleum.
Production Superintendent for Southern Oklahoma region
Ron has over 40 years of oil field experience and has been employed with Casillas Petroleum since 2007 overseeing the Southern Oklahoma region. Prior to employment with Casillas Petroleum, Ron began his career in the industry working for Cities Service, Grace Petroleum Corp., then 20 Years with Bogert Oil (acquired by Louis Dreyfus/Dominion Exploration) all in the Midcontinent region. His strong management skills and years of oil field experience are a very valuable asset to our exploration and production department.
Ron graduated from Oklahoma State University Technical Institute in 1973 with an Associate’s degree in Industrial Design. Formerly, he served as an Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association Regulatory and Environmental Committee member.
Starting his oilfield career in 2001, Wade worked his way up through oil and gas production starting with a saltwater hauling/lease operating company. He was hired in 2002 by Helmerich and Payne as a pumper, which became Cimarex that same year. His experience with Cimarex Energy Co. developed until he began the Production Foreman duties in 2013. In 2014, Casillas Petroleum purchased the Kansas properties to develop, and retained Wade’s services as Production Foreman overseeing the personnel and company operated leases.
